10,000 Trees for The Rouge – a Community Tree Planting Event
Date:Â Â Â Â Â Sunday, April 29, 2019
Who:Â Â Â Â Â Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers (with their families)
Time:Â Â Â Â Any time between 9 am to 1 pm
Location: Â Southeast corner of Stonebridge Drive and Major Mackenzie Road East, west of McCowan Road
Note:      There is no parking on site. Volunteers can park at Mount Joy Go Station and take a shuttle bus to the planning site. Shuttle buses will run from 8:45 am to 4:15 pm. Please register under “7th Markham Scouts”. Bring waterproof boots, spade or shovel, bucket and gloves, water bottle or mug (for coffee). A complimentary BBQ lunch starts at 11:30 am. See pictures from the previous years.
