Below is the schedule of activities for the week beginning May 13, 2019:

**Returning Participants Registration Privilege for Scouts Season 2019-2020 will expire on May 14, 2019. To register, see HERE.

Note:        Due to the rain, Monday Cubs will be playing active games in the gym.

Location:  Angus Glen Community Centre, 3990 Major Mackenzie Drive E, Markham, ON L6C 1P8
Note:        Bring a snorkel mask and life jacket if you have one.  Scouts will be challenged with Outdoor Adventure Skills – Aquatic Skills – Competencies Level 4 and 5.  To reach Level 6, youths will need an Emergency First Aid Certificate (see Group events below) and other requirements.

Note:        Will meet at the north end of the parking lot (across from McDonald’s) and then walk in using the north gate.  The fire pit is at the back of the site.  Bring flashlights and roasting sticks for marshmallow.

2. Zip Line Aerial Game Treks (min age 9 and 55″ height)
3. Zip Line Aerial Game Treks – Advanced (min age 12 and 60″ height)

Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C – Blended
Date:        Anytime before May 28, 2019 (myrc.redcross.ca SFA-C online training); Saturday, June 1, 2019 (Practical skill training and test / SFA-C written test day)

Grand River Rafting Camp

Ho Ho Host of World Scout Jamboree

Note:        This year we are honoured to have a group of World Scout Jamboree participants from the United Kingdom visiting 7th Markham Scouts.  World Scout Jamboree is a world scouting event happening once every four years.  As a host, we will have joint activities with our guests during their visit.  We will also need some help from families of 7th Markham Scouts to make it a lifelong memory for our guests to Canada.  More details will follow.

Toronto Zoo Sleepover
