This coming weekend – Santa Claus Parade and Popcorn Pickup

It’s Time to Pick Up Your Popcorn.  Way to go 7th Markham!  Our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers have broken last year record and have sold $15,494 in popcorn this year!  Thank you very much for your support to Scouts Popcorn!  Here are the break down:

Week of November 18 and 19, 2019

Below is the schedule of activities for the week beginning November 18 and 19, 2019:

In this Christmas season, 7th Markham Scouters encourage our youth to give.  Donating to the Markham Food Bank is one of the way.  You can simply drop off an item or two into the donation box by the entrance of your meeting location.  Most needed food items today include: Sardines, Hot cereal, Cold cereal, Pasta sauce, Crackers, Baby food, Baby Formula and Rice.  The Markham Food Bank also accepts donations of personal hygiene and baby food products.  This includes donations of soaps, toothpaste, shampoo, menstrual hygiene products and other necessary items as well as baby formula and diapers.  Thank you for giving!!

The tentative Popcorn Pickup date is November 24, 2019 Sunday.  We will post more information once it becomes available.

Note:     You can work on your Personal Achievement Badge (Canada and/or Community) and show support to our fellow veterans at the same time.  During the ceremony, you may be asked to help lay the Markham Scouts wreath.  For more details, see HERE.  Please also be aware of the road closure schedule.

Fall Camp

Christmas Giving – 7th Markham Scouters would like to invite everyone to participate in “Christmas Giving” challenge.  For the coming weeks until Christmas Potluck, we are collecting non-perishable food items for the Markham Food Bank.  A donation box will be setup by the school entrance. Thank you!
